Again,Father Freund, you have inspired me. Indeed,you have quickened my sense of thankfulness. Oftentimes,I think of my parents and grandparents who inhabited this earth when you and I were students at Saint Joe’s. Now,they see God’s beautiful face in His Forever along with the great saints of your own family.
Each month,I read the necrology with thanksgiving to God for the Vincentians who shaped me. In fact,most of our profs offed Mass on weekends when my brothers and I served as their altar boys at Saint Ann’s in Keansburg . So,my Vincentian history is similar and different from yours,John,but I join you and your Confreres with thanksgiving to God for our grandparents both in our families and in your Vincentian family. Also,I’m thankful that we have communication with one another today.
