Up until now, I never thought about “how” Jesus shared his news with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus.
I never paid attention to the “how” he shared the good news in each of the appearances after his resurrection.

If I were John the Baptist standing in the Jordan, I am sure I would have asked Jesus, “why are you asking me, a sinner, to baptize you?” What’s behind God speaking about his beloved son?

I am wondering if I am the only one unable, and unwilling, to get Tammy’s words out of my head… and whether you will find new and perhaps visceral understanding of scripture passages read so often.
