There is so much polarization in our world today. And it is not just political.
Polarization is on full display at all levels of the Church today… hierarchy, clergy, laity, vowed religious.
Is this the first time in history that the Church has been so divided?
Certainly not!

In 2019, Pope Francis set in motion a three-year conversation among 1.3 billion Catholics.
One of my favorite images of the synodal process is “a journey of dialogue in which we learn how to recognize the presence of Christ walking besides us.”
In his words and actions Pope Francis calls us back to the basics of Jesus’ vision. He has constantly lifted up the lowly and forgotten, given voice to all peoples in all corners of the world.
