For me, ”mindwalking” is always a surprise. It keeps me thinking!
I never know where the surprise is hiding. I rarely end up where I thought I was going.
Today’s surprise was connecting the “mindwalkng” process with what seems to be Pope Francis’ vision for a church that listens to each other and the Holy Spirit.
Remember saying “Are we there yet?” Can it teach us anything about today?
Parents are both comforters and nudges!
Should it be any different with God’s Spirit?
Is our working understanding of “Our Father” too small?
Does our understanding of “Our Father” stop at the borders of our immediate family… or our country?
Francis reminds us that marriage is above all a journey of human and spiritual growth, and that is never fully completed.
For the third and final reflection “Mary – Mother of the Church” teaches us to go beyond our self-centered dreams to God’s dream for us as sisters and brothers.

Jesus rightly earned the title of extremist. Washing the feet of his followers could certainly be called an extreme. Giving his life to demonstrate what it means to love everyone… even those who had murderous hatred for him.
A woman wrote of the beginning years of her marriage: “I have become aware of what it means to be loved and it is that awareness of being loved that I am trying to share with others.” What a beautiful way of getting at yet another dimension of loving.
