Connecting Dots: Lent, Valentine’s Day, and Systemic Change

At first glance, it may seem like quite a stretch to connect Ash Wednesday, Valentine’s Day and Systemic Change. But hear me out. Actually, it is not that hard.

Lessons Learned From a “Street Priest!”

Is God tired of us waiting for us among the poor?

Christ the King and the “Duck Test”

We speak of Christ as King.
Do our lives show it?

Pigeon-holing the Pope

Pigeon-holing the Pope

Francis has been Pope for ten years! People have been trying to put him in one slot or another.
I have been fascinated by the recent flood of articles trying to make sense of Pope Francis’ ten years.

Jesus – the Ultimate Bridge Builder

Jesus – the Ultimate Bridge Builder

Abortion – There is No Doubt…

Abortion – There is No Doubt…

Is “Our Father” a Challenging Prayer?

Is “Our Father” a Challenging Prayer?

God willing, after all this, we will think no longer in terms of ‘them’ and ‘those’, but only ‘us’” (No. 35).
For this reason, I have wished to devote the Message for this year’s World Day of Migrants and Refugees to the theme, Towards An Ever Wider “We”.
