Pope Francis calls us to “build a better kind of politics”. The USCCB suggest almost a “12 step program” for building community as envisaged when we truly commit to what we pray for in the “Our Father”.
For me, it has been a journey from thinking of the Trinity as a puzzle to be solved to realizing the Trinity is a model for my life.
A quick foray into various styles of conflict resolution suggests that there are two major concerns underlying how people approach conflict- concern for self (assertiveness) and concern for others (empathy).
As I reflected on Trinity Sunday this year, I realized I have been on quite a journey. I invite you to join me on this Vincentian Mindwalk. Some of you may relate to different phases of the journey.
